Dr. Andrew Hudson D.C.
 My
personal journey to a career in Chiropractic began at a very early age. As a young
boy, I watched my mother suffer with chronic back and neck pain and I felt powerless
to help her. Some of my earliest memories are of her wearing a neck brace just to
be able to function. When she discovered Chiropractic care and began receiving treatment,
I saw that my mother's quality of life improved significantly. Through my mother's
experience I realized that pain affects all aspects of life; physically, emotionally
and mentally. I also realized that the Doctor who cared for her and was able to
help her when I couldn't was someone I aspired to become.
The dream of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic never left me and. after attending
my undergraduate schooling at Ottawa U and Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, Quebec,
I made the decision to attend Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. I
graduated in 1996 and came home to Ottawa to open up my first practice the same
year.
Looking at the body as a whole is essential to complete and lasting healing. I truly
believe that the healing power of the human body is nature's gift to us and with
the aid of chiropractic those gifts are magnified and accelerated. I practice many
different kinds of modalities to treat my patients and I am very excited to have
discovered Pro-Adjustor technology.
I am constantly in awe at my patients' ability to use these natural gifts and I
find no greater satisfaction than to assist them to heal, release their pain and
improve their own quality of life as it did so many years ago for my own mother.
My wife, Lacie and I have 3 beautiful boys and continue to make Ottawa our home.
